Description

A Bit About Me

Richie – a raw and gritty actor from the Black Country, the working man’s heart of the Midlands, found his first call to acting in Musicals and Musical Plays. His credits include: Jean Valjean – ‘Les Miserables’, Sammy – ‘The Wedding Singer’, Dennis – ‘Loot’, Frank Decker – ‘Working’ and the lead role in an open air WW1 commemoration musical play ‘Four Winters At War’ funded by the Cannock Chase Arts Council.

Richie graduated with a First class BA(Hons) in acting from the London College of Music in 2019. He has since continued his training with numerous workshops, short courses, casting sessions and a stage and screen fighting course with the BASSC.

Since moving to London in 2016, Richie has shifted his focus to work within Film and TV. Being a lad of Brummie decent, working-class, imposing and usually sporting the appropriate haircut, he knows his strengths lie in productions similar to Peaky Blinders. Since graduating in 2019, Richie consistently gets seen for very exciting screen work. His screen credits include: Pride in London, Paralympics, Calm, Exit UK and his first feature Blood Orange shot in 2020.

When not acting, Richie can be found loitering around the nearest gym, lifting weights or taking a fight class, utilising his Tae Kwon Do and Boxing experience or freelancing in welding and fabrication. Richie owes thanks for his mechanical mind to his father, Martyn whom he built custom motorcycles with in his childhood.

Richie eagerly looks toward establishing himself as a raw and gritty powerhouse actor, and in the future aspires to create opportunities for young working-class actors from the Midlands.
